Terms and Conditions

‘The Client’ refers to the customer booking any services with HCC Events.
‘We, ours, us, etc.’ means HCC Events.
‘You, yours, etc.’ means The Client.

These Terms and Conditions may be amended by us at any time by updating them on our website. You should review these Terms and Conditions each time you access our website. By continuing to use and access our website you agree to be bound by the amended Terms and Conditions.

HCC Events can arrange any extra equipment you require for your function. Any additional equipment is itemised in the quote, and may include a delivery charge. Any damage to or loss of hire equipment caused by the client, client’s guests, venues or venues employees the client will be held liable for all cost incurred, on replacement or repair thereof.

All furniture, equipment, decor and non-perishable items will remain the property of HCC Events.

Pricing

All prices quoted are only valid for seven (7) days from date of quotation. Pricing is subject to change without prior notice.

Payments

Payment is required in full, unless prior arrangement has been made with HCC Events. We accept payment via EFT, cash or Cash Deposit (5% to be added to total amount of quotation for cash deposit applies) Our bank account details are located on each invoice and quotation for payment. Cheques will not accepted.

All quotations are subject to availability at the time of booking and a 100% payment is required to secure the function date. No function is considered or confirmed until full payment has been received. Any addition to final numbers for catering purposes will be invoiced separately seven (7) days prior to the function date, payment for additional numbers must be made prior to function date. Unless prior arrangements have been made with HCC Events. Any additional charges for loss and or damage of any equipment will be invoiced after the event and must be paid for within three (3) day from invoice date.

Once payment has been made to HCC Events you hereby acknowledge and

accept the Terms & Conditions of HCC Events.

Confirmation Details

Menus, final numbers, allergens or any other requirements for functions are to be confirmed seven (7) days prior to the Function. If the final numbers decrease after confirmation has been made you will be charged for your confirmed numbers.

Allergies

HCC Events food, kitchen and equipment may contain traces of nuts, egg, dairy, gluten and other know allergens. Although all care is taken by HCC Events to ensure these items are contained, we cannot guarantee cross contamination. HCC Events will not accept any responsibility or liability for an adverse reaction caused by any of our food to any guest.

Cancellation or Postponements

Cancellations of any function, cakes and or catering prior to seven (7) days of the function for any reason, including weather or any other circumstances only a 50% refund will be refunded of the final invoice amount within thirty (30) days from cancellation. If postponement of any function, cakes and or catering prior to seven (7) days of function is postponed, dependent on date availability of HCC Events. If date is available function, cake and or catering will be postponed. If date is unavailable only a 50% refund will be refunded of the final invoice amount within thirty (30) days of postponement.

Any functions, cakes and or catering cancelled or postponed less than seven (7) days prior to the function will not be refunded.

Please insure that there is adequate indoor space available for function setup in the event of bad weather.

Cancellation of daily meals needs to be made no less than 48 hours prior to collection of the daily meal. Refunds and postponements of daily meals will be at the discretion of HCC Events.

All cancellations and or postponements must be given in writing and receipt thereof by HCC Events.

Presentation and Menus

Pictures on our website are for presentation purposes only. Menus are subject to change according to seasons and availability. We do endeavour to alert clients to any changes, however, this is not always possible and in some instances some products may be substituted for similar products.

Cakes

A minimum of fourteen (14) days’ notice is required for any cake or cupcake order, unless prior arrangements have been made with HCC Events. Full payment as well as the signed quotation is required to confirm order. Please ensure date availability before making payment.

Daily Meal Platters

A minimum of seven (7) days’ notice is required for any home cooked meals and platters for catering purposes. Full payment as well as the signed quotation is required to confirm order.

Functions and Machine Hire

A minimum of fourteen (14) days’ notice is required for any function and or machine hire, unless prior arrangements have been made with HCC Events. Full payment as well as the signed quotation is required to confirm order. Please ensure date availability before making payment.

Deliveries

Deliveries is at the discretion of HCC Events. Delivery charges may apply. Please ensure delivery access is available to your location at prearranged time and date. If access is not available at the prearranged time and date, additional delivery charge will apply.

Collections

All collections must be collected by the prearranged date and time. HCC Events will not be held liable for orders not collected timorously, as we may have prior arrangements.
